"Pursuing the Dream" (all ages) - Mark's own personal story, about his work and what he does and the stories behind the stories. Practical encouragement to those who have a dream and how to get there.
"The Creative Process" (sugg. Ages 9 to adult) - A bit more in-depth look at the keys to making your art successful and the communication process of art. Practical and motivational as all Mark's presentations are. "The Business of Writing & Illustrating" (young adult/adult) - So you want to get published? Or be an artist? This presentation explores the world of publishing and the illustration field and the practical steps one needs to consider if stepping towards this dream. Mark shares his own story and gladly shares what he has learned over the years.
Mark will be available to sign books and art at your event And we will send you 1 complimentary set of Mark Ludy's works to use in Marketing the event -One consideration may be setting up multiple days and splitting the travel costs with other schools. No more then 2 consecutive days will be scheduled in an area.- Michele Worthington, Loodle's Event Coordinator will walk with you step by step in making this a successful day. TRAVEL COSTS $1 will be charged per mile driven Speaking Engagements OVER 100 MILES AWAY... If Needed... Airfair - Coach Class, will be determined and set up by Loodles and will be factored into cost If Needed... Car Rental. Loodles will factor this into cost If Needed... $15 Per Day charge for Airport Parking Overnight Accommodations will be needed for night of arrival through till last night of visit. This will be factored into cost and arranged by Loodles. What You Will Need to Do 
First, Get in touch with Michele Worthington Phone 970.674.5153 or email her at michele@loodles.com Let her know what you are thinking and what you would like. Michele will go over all the particulars with you and then figure out if it is something that will work on the calendar for Mark Ludy. Michele will put together an initial invoice and send it to you. You will need to put down 1/3 deposit of the invoice amount to secure the date. Once the deposit is received Michele will put together a packet of materials to be sent to you. From there let the fun begin! Michele will walk through with you all that will make this time successful
What you can expect Not only will Mark exceed your expectations but will cause quite a stir at your school. For not only does he entertain but he brings a refreshing message that will long live in the hearts of young and old alike. His enthusiasm and zest for life are contagious and his words are thoughtful and insightful. Principles, teachers and parents have all enjoyed what it is Mark brings to schools and have sung his praises. Having him at your school is a "can't go wrong" move on your part. Things expected of you Loodles will be supplying the opportunity for students and teachers to buy books and art. We would expect that the complimentary set of books sent to you will be introduced to the students and teachers before Mark Ludy arrives so they are not only acquainted with the works but know what to look forward to. Michele will also be sending to you order forms and catalogue sheets, these are meant to be given to each student at least two weeks before Mark Ludy arrives.
Assistance will be given in organizing all Pre-Orders of books and art and orders on the day of visit. (the assistant needed will need to be organized as this can be, for some, a daunting task) On "Full Days" or days where two schools are sharing Mark for the day, Lunch will need to be provided, either off-campus or with the teachers would be great. Mark would be honored to spend this time with you.
On the day of visit it would be so appreciated if you could provide Mark with bottled waters. Plus a large table for books and art to be laid out on. An easel with large white paper, with black sharpie, can be a great addition if provided as Mark may doing some drawing, sure to impress all.
**If a scheduled date is cancelled the deposit is forfeited. If weather conditions or health reasons cause for the date to be cancelled a new date will be scheduled. **
